"I chose to represent myself from an
artistic perspective for this Identity photo shoot. I became interested in art
during high school, and it ended up being a hobby that allowed me to escape
from various social pressures and my on-going search for identity that I was
experiencing at the time.
I chose to do the photo shoot with paintbrushes and paint, because I am a painter. I've always loved the naturalistic look of dead-grass/wheat meadows and fields, and found one near my apartment that looked like it would work well for the project. It ended up being a blast!"
